Blog Tour

#MYWRITINGPROCESS BLOG TOUR

Thanks a lot Lucia Hiratsuka for the invitation to join this Blog Tour, and through these four questions talk a little about my work with writing. Starting with ...

What am I working on?

I always work in more than one text at a time. In one of them, which has the working title of "The SecretCloset", I'm writing a story about an enchantment tale unlike my previous texts a somewhat longer narrative

How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I think my work is distinguished because it seeks for a poetic game inside the narrative. I like to push the limits of the reader's imagination. For example: an ant carrying words to an anthill? A boy who collects water? That's the spirit of my work.

Why do I write what I do?

I write to tell stories which can instigate further reading and provoke literary images that are inspiring from other lived or dreamed images.
It is also extremely gratifying for me to be in touch with my readers.

How does your writing process work?

I'm constantly writing. It could be reading, looking at a picture, chatting with my readers and other children, observing nature, remembering my childhood memories and seek in the memory the subtlety of emotions that were part of it. All of these is part of my creative process.

To continue this tour I introduce Carla Pilla to tell you about your working process next week

Carla Pilla is a brazilian illustrator and the creator of the comic strips Filé de Gato. She also illustrates the Martha Medeiros’ columns at Zero Hora newspaper. Until now, Carla has illustrated more than 20 children books.  http://carla-pilla.blogspot.com.br/
